Cheshire Wedding Venues

Crewe Hall
LCM

Built in 1600s and completely restored in the mid 19^th century, Crewe Hall is one of those places that must be seen to be appreciated. This is, in my opinion, the most fabulous building in Cheshire that's licensed for marriages. Great friendly staff as well.

Shrigley Hall

This impressive 19th Century country mansion sits within 262 acres of glorious grounds and gardens. The hotel sits high above the estate on the edge of the Peak District National Park, and has exceptional views over the Cheshire plain. What I like about this place, is it's grandeur and the courtyard on a hot Sunday, July afternoon. Click on the image to visit Shrigley Hall.

Mottram Hall

Nestled in 270 acres of picturesque parkland with its own ornamental lake it is within easy reach of Manchester Airport, the bright lights of Manchester and the charm of Chester. This elegantly furnished Hotel retains many of its original features combined discretely with all the modern facilities and service you would expect from a 4 Star Hotel. Mere Golf and Country Club - Cheshire Wedding Venues

For more than half a century, many happy couples have been celebrating their first moments of married life at Mere. All of Mere's function suites are fully licensed to hold Civil Ceremonies. I liked this venue, great staff and the food looked and smelled fantastic.

Cumbria Wedding Venues

Armathwaite Hall
LCM

Bordered by the beauty of Bassenthwaite Lake and framed by the dramatic Skiddaw mountain and fells, Armathwaite Hall is as romantic as the surrounding countryside. The splendour of this 17^th century mansion is just simply wonderful. The buffet was the best looking I have ever seen. Click on the image to visit Armathwaite Hall.

Lancashire Wedding Venues

Bartle Hall
LCM

Situated a few miles to the north of Preston, Bartle Hall is a small family run 14 room hotel set in 16 acres. I love this venue, especially in early autumn when the leaves are just turning golden and the evenings are still warm and balmy. I have many fond memories of entertaining wedding guests outside on the lawns while they enjoyed this wonderful peaceful setting before going inside to enjoy something a bit more lively. North Wales Wedding Venues

Ruthin Castle

Only a few miles south of Chester, Ruthin Castle is another of those wedding venues that just oozes romance. With 4 rooms licensed for civil marriages. You can book the banqueting hall, hire the costumes and have a medieval themed wedding or simply book the whole castle for exclusive use.

Shropshire Wedding Venues

Rowton Castle

What could be more romantic than being King & Queen of the Castle on your wedding day. You can have exclusive use of this 17^th century castle to have a truly memorable wedding. Great setting, great food, and great staff. I was only there for a few hours but thoroughly enjoyed performing in this fantastic building.

Yorkshire Wedding Venues

Oakwood Hall
LCM

This Gothic style building has some of the most impressive wood panelling I've seen. I've not much idea what it's like on the outside as I visited on a November night, but I do remember that the rooms looked fantastic, the staff were great and the buffet smelled delicious.

Waterton Park Hotel

There surely can be no finer setting for your wedding day than a romantic Georgian mansion nestling on its own private island. What do I like about this place? Well it's just different. Old and new are merged together to give a comfortable grand setting with modern amenities and the view as you walk over the bridge to Walton Hall is simply wonderful.

Holdsworth House

Holdsworth House - Yorkshire Wedding Venues

Holdsworth House is a lovely 17^th century Jacobean mansion. With four rooms licensed for civil ceremonies it boasts the UK's smallest licensed wedding venue for that intimate wedding. With a fantastic menu and wine list and of course a friendly Yorkshire welcome, I can't recommend this venue enough.
