Here are some wedding entertainment ideas to help you decide when to use a wedding magician, or indeed if it's right for you.
Magical wedding entertainment, from Magic Circle member and Wedding Magician Ian Ball, is not just pick a card, find a card magic over a drink or two, well it's not when you choose Ian to entertain at your wedding reception!
With the magic happening inches away from your guests, and sometimes in their own hands you can be sure that people will be talking about your wedding entertainment choices for many months after the event.
Wedding Entertainment Idea No. 1 Strolling Magic
Strolling magic gives your guests the opportunity to mix with and even surround the magician during the performance. This style of wedding magic is ideal for the less formal setting, such as a buffet, while your guests are arriving or even when the photographs are being taken.
During the reception, the wedding magician will entertain small groups of your guests without the need for stages or cumbersome props because the magic is quite literally in his hands and more often than not, in the hands of your guests.
Wedding Entertainment Idea No. 2 Close-up Magic
Close-up magic is probably the most amazing form of personal entertainment that your guests can experience.
With the magic happening literally inches away from their eyes, everyone watching will have the opportunity to share in this unique and intimate experience of a close-up mini magical cabaret.
Ian performs as a Wedding Magician with warmth and humour, captivating his audience and leaving them totally spellbound with his mysteries.
Wedding Entertainment Idea No. 3 Table Magic
Table magic is a mixture of Strolling magic and Close-up magic. It can be performed whilst your guests are being seated and/or between the individual courses of the wedding breakfast. Working with the venue staff, Ian ensures his performance never interferes with the meal or speeches.
For the larger wedding you may decide to hire another magician to ensure that everyone can join in the spectacle. A general rule of thumb is to have one Wedding Magician for every 150 people attending the wedding reception.
If required Magic for Weddings can arrange this, or for a different type of entertainer to be available.
Wedding Entertainment Idea No. 4 Stage Magic
During the evening's entertainment why not take a 20 minute break from the live band or disco to allow your guests to enjoy Ian's cabaret magic, which will entertain audiences of any size.
With his incredible feats of memory and his mentalist, mind reading and card handling skills, Ian offers plenty of opportunity for audience participation and interaction.
Or why not enquire about his amazing "Floating the Bride" effect.
